We serve Central Illinois by providing a dedicated space in Peoria for writers to write and connect with other writers, grow in their knowledge and skills, and share their experience and work.

My Writing Shed is recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit, and your donation tax deductible.

Our funding is through donations and pay-what-you-can writerships, which give writers access to everything we offer without the barrier of personal finances.

Your generous support allows us to continue our mission. Contributions will be applied to rent, utilities, Wi-Fi, supplies, insurance, website costs, educational programming, and/or other costs acquired to support our mission. Your gift will benefit our local community of novelists, poets, songwriters, bloggers, diarists, playwrights, screenwriters, and more.
