Our shiny, new address! We're located at 716 W. Main Street in Peoria, IL.

Our version of the 1960s conversation pit includes comfortable chairs to settle into and write. And our rolltop desk might inspire you to write some poetry.

Our desks are spacious to give you ample room for laptops, outlines, coffee... the important stuff.

A small cluster of desks should be called a "murder," in our opinion. But not in an actual murder-y way.

Our chaise lounge pairs nicely with our loaner lap desks, if we do say so ourselves.

Fueled by imagination, you never know what you'll find at My Writing Shed.

We try to anticipate our writers' needs and offer a curated selection of resources. Some are to borrow in-shed (reference books, scissors, stapler, tape, etc.) while others are to take with you (pens, notebooks, pencils, and more).

We have fans, lamps, fidgeters, plant buddies, and more ready to take back to your workstation. It's kind of a secret, but our plant buddies have names.

Our hydration station has a variety of hot and cold beverage options, with bins loaded with a medley of snacks.

We don't actually watch TV on this beauty from 1972, but the charging station on top is a convenient place to leave your phone when it's a distraction. It's also where we charge some of our loaner equipment. Rest assured - we do have outlets near all of our workstations.
